Rosenblum Goldenhersh Firm Overview

Founded in 1953, Rosenblum Goldenhersh is engaged primarily in the practice of commercial transactions and commercial litigation. The firm is comprised of attorneys divided functionally between transactional law and litigation. The transactional practice is further divided into the following interrelated disciplines: real estate; tax credit financing; HUD/FHA financing; charitable organizations; corporate; tax and estate planning; and healthcare. The litigation practice is further divided into general civil litigation and labor and employment.

The transactional law practice is comprehensive and includes a client base varying in size, geographic location and business activity. Although we are frequently described as a “tax law” firm, it is more appropriate to say we practice an aggressive style of business law, considering, where appropriate, the relevant tax issues. Our corporate attorneys are experienced transactional practitioners whose advice is based on a thorough understanding of a transaction’s underlying business, tax and economic arrangements. While our business law practice is defined by specific disciplines, a common thread of entrepreneurial spirit is present in each specific client representation.

The litigation department is involved in all aspects of civil trial and appellate practice with an extensive emphasis in construction litigation, domestic law and labor and employment law. Our results-driven litigators routinely handle multi-million dollar disputes in both Federal and State court.

Although considered a small to medium sized firm by today’s standards, we have gained a national reputation in the tax credit financing, HUD/FHA and real estate areas. We are particularly proud that we have represented the owners and developers of many of the largest urban revitalization projects in St. Louis, Kansas City and throughout the country. We believe that our size allows us to provide more personalized service to our clients.

Many of our attorneys have spent significant portions of their careers at the firm, providing service to our long-standing, loyal clients. The firm’s commitment to academic excellence is evidenced by the outstanding academic credentials of each of our attorneys and our active participation in continuing education programs, as both participants and instructors. Further, several partners of the firm serve as Adjunct Professors in the Masters of Law in Taxation Program at Washington University School of Law. We believe that this teaching experience is particularly valuable in the professional development of our younger attorneys which, in turn, will continue our tradition of excellence well into the future.
