Adam M. Sparks

As long as he can remember, Adam has sought to solve problems. A native of Watkinsville, Georgia, and an experienced litigator and politico, Adam cares about understanding the concerns of his clients, his friends, his colleagues and his barista so he can find a way to help. For nearly five years after graduating law school, Adam practiced with some of the brightest minds serving plaintiffs and defendants in Washington, D.C. before heading home to offer legal and policy assistance to statewide political campaigns. He now pursues a diverse practice allowing him to follow his interests in and experience on behalf of clients seeking solutions to difficult problems in the political, educational, and public arenas. Experience trying cases involving complex financial institutions and straightforward landlord/tenant issues, and litigating cases running the gamut of business settings and civil procedure obstacles, enables Adam to deploy his skills with confidence, precision, and not a little verve. Adam seeks out pro bono opportunities involving voting rights and constitutional law.

Adam graduated with degrees in drama and political science from the Honors College at the University of Georgia, where he served as student body president. He then headed to Columbia University to earn a master’s degree in politics and education and a law degree, graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Adam was fortunate to clerk for several judges at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, most recently for the Honorable Leigh Martin May.

Adam serves on several boards and committees aimed at improving life in Georgia, including the local chapter of the American Constitution Society, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and the UGA Honors College Young Alumni Board. When not strengthening his practice and serving clients, he spends time with his wife, daughter, and two rescue mutts, and takes in the performing arts and his beloved Dawgs whenever he can.
