Hannah E. Black

As an associate in the Birmingham office, Hannah represents clients in civil litigation with a focus on insurance coverage and bad faith, insurance defense, commercial transportation, liquor liability, and employment law. Hannah graduated from The University of Alabama in 2019 where she received a degree in news media broadcasting with a concentration in sports. While at Alabama, Hannah worked for the SEC Network as a student sideline sports reporter and took a media law class which sparked an interest in the study of law. She went on to obtain her J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2022. At Cumberland, Hannah was selected to be a part of the school’s National Arbitration Team where she competed with law school students from across the country. In addition, she served as President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and worked at the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office.

During her free time, Hannah enjoys watching sports, spending time with her nephews, and being with friends and family.
