Joshua Bauchner, of Mandelbaum Barrett PC, serves as the chair of the Cannabis and Psychedelics Practice Group and is a Partner in the Litigation and Bankruptcy practice groups. He brings a depth of expertise and dedication to the practice, where he is involved in complex commercial and securities litigation, class actions, and bankruptcy-related issues. 

In the ever-evolving area of psychoactive substances, Josh was instrumental in co-hosting the inaugural Cannabis Symposium in New Jersey, attracting nearly a thousand attendees, with subsequent symposia continuing to garner attention. As a notable member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Cannabis Law Committee, the NORML Legal Committee, and the Amicus Committee, he received the New Jersey Law Journal’s Innovator of the Year Award.*

Natalie Diaz is an associate within the Cannabis, Hemp, and Psychedelics (“CHAP”) Practice Group at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. With a sharp understanding of the intricacies within the CHAP industries, Natalie guides both individuals and businesses through various legal matters including license acquisition, regulatory compliance, commercial real estate, and corporate transactions. Her dedication lies in providing robust legal representation while ensuring her clients possess a comprehensive understanding of their rights within these sectors.

Carrie Ward, of Earp Cohn P.C., has twenty years’ experience in business law with a particular focus on entertainment, communications and media law. Her clients range from media group owners, small broadcasters and podcasters, actors, filmmakers, musicians and start-up entrepreneurs. She works with her clients on the day-to-day operations of their business from protecting intellectual property, reviewing and drafting all types of contracts including vendor and employment agreements, and reviewing advertising content for regulatory compliance.

Donna DeVita, the Director of Marketing at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles, LLP, has served in this role for over eight years. Passionate and award-winning, Donna is a legal marketing professional who implements strategies to significantly enhance the firm’s visibility among potential clients across Long Island and New York City. She fosters community engagement through unique outreach initiatives and strategic public relations efforts.
