Primerus PPII Member, Ogborn Mihm, LLP, of Denver is very pleased to announce that it recently negotiated a $100 million settlement for its clients Dave and Amanda Repsher in a product liability case against Airbus Helicopters, SAS, Airbus Helicopters, Inc., and Air Methods Corporation.  Dave Repsher, a flight nurse, suffered full thickness burns to over 90 percent of his body when a helicopter on which he was a crewmember crashed.  Murray Ogborn and Nicole Quintana labored on this case almost full time for nearly 2 1/2 years, focusing on the damages portion of the case.  The Ogborn Mihm trial team consisted of Murray, Nicole, Mike Ogborn, and Thomas Neville.  Ogborn Mihm brought in the Kansas City law firm of Robb & Robb, LLC, for its expertise in helicopter crash cases to work with Mike Ogborn on the liability portion of the case.  The Repshers plan to establish a private foundation, the initial mission of which will be to promote emergency medical services flight safety and burn survivor support.   For those interested, here is a link to a Channel 9 NBC television interview of Dave Repsher and Murray Ogborn discussing the case.
