Managing Member of the Demorest Law Firm, PLLC Mark Demorest is pleased to announce Demorest Dispute Resolution, LLC, a mediation practice focused on resolving difficult negotiations.
Mark Demorest will serve as an Arbitrator, Mediator, or Facilitator at Demorest Dispute Resolution, LLC. Mark is widely respected for his exceptional analytical skills, and ability to quickly identify critical issues. His sensitivity and calming demeanor make him particularly well suited for resolving emotionally charged, complex cases. Mark utilizes a common sense and practical approach to problem solving which, when combined with his tranquil manner, puts the parties at ease to allow them to work through difficult negotiations.
Mark Demorest has nearly 30 years of experience in a variety of matters, including, but not limited to: civil litigation; real estate; corporate law; mergers, acquisitions, & dissolution issues; insurance; hospitality law; entertainment law; and employment law.
Mark Demorest graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, in 1983. In law school, Mark was elected to the Order of the Coif; the top 10% of his law school class. Mark’s professional experience includes the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and over 25 years of practice. He founded the Demorest Law Firm, PLLC in September of 1998. Mark is on the Commercial Advisory Committee for the American Arbitration Association, and serves on the Board of Directors for U.S. Lacrosse (Michigan Chapter) and the Harvard Club of Eastern Michigan. Mark is also an interviewer for Harvard College Admissions Office.
