William A. Korman has won numerous precedent-setting rulings and has tried complex matters. Passionately devoted to and active in the cause of civil rights and civil liberty, Will’s practice also includes appellate advocacy, general litigation and domestic relations.

Prior to becoming a partner at Rudolph Friedmann, LLP, Will was the managing partner of KormanTheiss, a firm that began as Korman & Associates in 2005.  Prior to starting the firm, Will was of Counsel to the renowned Boston firm of Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye, LLP.

Before entering private practice, Will worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, where he was active in the Safe Neighborhood Initiative, a first of its kind community based prosecution model. In that role, Will handled the prosecution of thousands of misdemeanor and felony matters in and around the city of Boston.

Will attended Syracuse University and received a degree in political science. Will graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1995.

In 2001, Will was named an “Up and Coming” attorney in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Will has been selected as both a Massachusetts “Rising Star” and a “Super Lawyer” as seen in Boston magazine.

A sought after speaker, Will has lectured to bar associations, law schools and affiliated organizations around the country in the areas of criminal ethics, criminal law, and the representation of sex offenders. Will has appeared on CNN and has been quoted in a number of newspaper and magazine articles including The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, and The Wall Street Journal.
