Professional experience
Ms. English joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 1989 and is a Partner in the Firm, as well as Chair of the Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Her practice consists of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including products liability and medical malpractice. Ms. English also practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, estate litigation, real estate and adoptions.

Ms. English is a past President of the Broome County Bar Association (2006-2007) and a past member of the Broome County Judicial Candidate committee. She is a former Chair of the Professional Liability Section of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. English is a member of the Broome County, Tioga County and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the American Association for Justice and New York Trial Lawyers Association. She is a past Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of Broome/Tioga Counties, having served on the Board for ten years. Ms. English is also a member of the Owego Rotary Club and a member of the Southern Tier Adoptive Families.
