Richard C. Badeaux is an associate with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Mr. Badeaux was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and attended Tulane University and Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  He then attended Loyola University School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1992.  As a student at Loyola, he was a member of the Loyola Law Review and Loyola Environmental Law Society, and president of the Loyola Public Interest Law Group, and the recipient of The Warren E. Mouledoux Award for Professional Responsibility, American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in the Legal profession, and Student Bar Award for Excellence in Patent Law.

Mr. Badeaux was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 1992.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana.

Prior to law school, Mr. Badeaux was employed as a research assistant at The Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where he worked on grants from the Environmental Protection Agency and private industry to develop treatment methods for municipal and hazardous wastes. He co-authored Louisiana Infectious Waste Rules and Regulations, under a contract with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality to draft model rules for storage, treatment and disposal of infectious wastes (LADEQ Contract No. 28400-88-1).
