Luigi Granato received his Law Degree from the Università degli Studi di Milano in 1982. He has been a member of the Milan Bar since 1988 and since 26 April 2001 has been qualified to plead before the Italian Supreme Court. After completing his studies, Mr Granato worked for several years with a leading Milan law firm. In 1988 he founded his own law firm, Granato & Associati, assisting clients with matters in corporate, commercial, employment, and IP law, in both litigation and out-of-court proceedings and transactions. In 1999, together with several partners, he founded the MDM Law and Accountancy Firm.

Starting from January 2012, he joined the law firm Studio Legale F. De Luca, as Partner . During his 30 year career as a legal practitioner, Mr Granato has developed considerable experience in the fields of litigation, the fields employment law and union relations, in addition to M&A and numerous other corporate law procedures. He has developed significant experience at all levels of litigation and dispute resolution, and has served as arbitrator on numerous occasions for controversies involving both employment and other corporate matters. Moreover, he has practiced extensively in the fields of agency and sports law, and he was for nine years President of the Panel of Arbitrators of the Italian National Professional Football League for decisions regarding controversies between football players and trainers and the Upper Division (Serie A and B) League Clubs.

He is a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars on employment law. Languages: Italian, English Memberships: ABA (American Bar Association),IBA (International Bar Association) , EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association) e AGI (Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani).
