Jonathan is the Head of Corporate and a partner in Marriott Harrison’s Corporate group, with a focus on M&A, venture capital and private equity.
Jonathan has been regularly named in the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories for both M&A and venture capital, where he has been described as “calm and pragmatic”. He acts not only for private equity/venture houses and other funders but also for management teams, owners and investee companies on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and general corporate matters.
He is passionate about helping clients with both their day-to-day and longer-term strategic issues. Jonathan sees the relationship works best where it is for the long-term, with him adding value by helping clients achieve their ambitions and vision through my understanding of their motivations and plans.
Prior to joining Marriott Harrison in 2002, he had a successful career in PR and marketing working for, amongst others, the Arts Council of England and the Copyright Licensing Agency Limited.
