Christine B. Hickey, Esq.
Christine Hickey’s practice focuses on the defense of physicians, dentists and hospitals for claims of malpractice.
Prior to joining Lewis Johs, she was an associate at another Manhattan defense firm, where she concentrated on the defense of lawsuits sounding in medical and dental malpractice, casualty defense and products liability. She was involved in all aspects of case management from inception to trial.
Christine received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1993, graduating with distinction. During law school, she was a member of the Hofstra Law Review, worked as a research assistant for a torts professor, and authored two publications. In 1990, she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, cum laude, from Hofstra. While at Hofstra, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the English Honor Society.
Christine was admitted to practice in New York in 1994. In 2002 she was admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
