Evans & Co. is a full service boutique law firm situate in Nassau, Bahamas. It has its origin in the firm of Thomas A. E. Evans & Co., which was founded in 1987 by Mr. Thomas A. E. Evans. From its inception the firm has earned a reputation throughout The Bahamas as litigation specialists as well as developing a vibrant real estate and commercial law practice.
Its founder, Thomas A. E. Evans, a former Acting Justice of the Supreme Court, who was appointed a Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1996, has a reputation that is unrivalled in the Islands as an advocate. His most outstanding early achievements were in the Criminal Courts and Industrial matters, but in the last twenty years he has become a leading advocate in the commercial courts and in particular commercial matters with a private international law content.
The firm’s other two attorneys, Veronique J. N. Evans and Akire C. Nicolls are equally qualified practitioners whose practices cover a wide range of legal issues inclusive of Intellectual Property, Maritime Law, Agricultural Law, Personal Injury and Trust Law.
