Professional experience
Rahel Nedi specializes in labor law, public personnel law, and data protection, with a particular focus on the complex challenges surrounding the use of artificial intelligence and technological developments in the workplace. She advises and represents SMEs, corporations, public institutions, and individuals both domestically and internationally.
Rahel Nedi completed her Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva in 2010. During an internship at the Swiss Consulate General in Shanghai, she gained valuable experience in the diplomatic and foreign policy fields. She then earned her Master of Law degree from the University of Neuchâtel in 2012 and completed an LL.M. at King’s College London in 2013.
After being admitted to the bar in 2014, Rahel Nedi simultaneously worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Portmann in labor law, completing her dissertation in 2018. In addition to her practical work, Rahel Nedi serves as a lecturer at the University of Zurich and is involved as a member of the editorial board of the legal journal for labor law “ARV/DTA.” She is also a co-editor of the online commentary for labor law (forthcoming).
Rahel Nedi regularly publishes and speaks at conferences on her areas of expertise. Her extensive language skills in German, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese enable her to advise clients internationally and in multiple languages. She also has basic knowledge of Mandarin.
