Mia K. Klause

Mia Klause is a litigation associate at PEREZ VAUGHN & FEASBY specializing in complex business litigation matters. Mrs. Klause was born and raised in Minnesota. In 2020, Mrs. Klause graduated from South Dakota State University and then went on to graduate from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 2023 where she was one of the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law’s youngest graduates at 22 years old. During her time in law school, Mrs. Klause was the Vice President for the Women in Law Board, board member of the Public Interest Network, Veterans Legal Aid society and Vice President of the University of South Dakota School of Law’s Trial Team, where she competed around the United States and was awarded best advocate awards within her law school.

While working for a litigation firm in South Dakota, Mrs. Klause gained legal experience in criminal defense, business, insurance claims, personal injury, wills and estate planning, and landlord tenant law. Mrs. Klause moved to California in 2024 and worked as an in-house counsel with First American title insurance company on their underwriting product development team. Prior to joining PVF, Mrs. Klause worked for a civil litigation defense firm specializing in general liability and transportation defense. Mrs. Klause has significant experience in settlement negotiations, mediations, depositions, discovery, motion practice. She has experience with both plaintiff and defense work.
