Antonio G. Riojas Parás

Antonio has been a CCN associate since 2018. His practice focuses on regulatory and transactional matters of the electricity sector, including advice to utility-scale and onsite power plants; administrative procedures to obtain permits, registration, and agreements to participate in the Wholesale Electricity Market; as well as advice to end users in the negotiation of any type of energy procurement contract and in compliance with the Grid Code.

Recently, Antonio has also planned and implemented defense strategies to protect utility-scale power plants against laws and government actions.

In the hydrocarbons sector, Antonio specializes in regulatory and transactional advice for companies in the natural gas and oil products’ midstream and downstream activities.
