Andrew Kasman

Andrew T. Kasman is an experienced commercial real estate lawyer. He has a national practice concentrated in the areas of buying, selling, financing and leasing. He represents commercial developers, landlords and tenants. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financings. His practice includes construction, acquisition and mezzanine financing, 1031 exchanges, joint ventures, and property management agreements.

Andrew has handled real estate transactions involving retail, office, warehouse, shopping centers, restaurants, medical facilities, banks, and multi-family developments. Andrew is well versed in preparation of Partnership and Operating Agreements, Property Management Agreements, and Service Agreements.

Andrew often lecturers on lease negotiations from both landlord and tenant perspectives, in programs sponsored by title companies and lenders.

Andrew also acts as the General Counsel for United Capital Corp., a diverse real estate investment and management company in the business of investing in and managing real estate properties, including the operation of full-service hotels, and manufacturing engineered products.

Prior to joining Barton, Andrew was a Partner and Chairman of the Real Estate Department at Abrams Fensterman.
