Lee Biddle joined Ferris & Britton in 2005 as a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining the firm, he was the staff attorney for the Utility Consumers’ Action Network (UCAN), representing consumer interests in energy and telecommunications matters in front of regulators and in court. While at UCAN, Lee handled cases recovering over $50 million for California residents. Lee has also served as an expert commentator on telecommunications and consumer issues for numerous local and national media outlets, including National Public Radio and US News & World Report.
Lee is a graduate of California Western School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University. His student law review article, State Regulation of the Internet: Where Does the Balance of Federalist Power Lie?, 37 Cal. W. L. Rev. 161 (2000), has been cited by courts and in other scholarly work.
Prior to his legal career, Lee served for several years as aide to a San Diego City Councilman, working on a broad range of public policy and legal issues facing the city. He is currently a member of the San Diego Ethics Commission.
Lee lives in San Diego with his wife, Estela, and their two children.
