She is able to help the client navigate the complex and sometime confusing procedures of the Social Security Administration from the initial application for benefits, through the first and second denial process, through the extensive preparation necessary for hearing, and the hearing itself.

Active in the community, Sandy sits on the Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Western Pennsylvania and the United Jewish Federation. She is the President of the American Friends of Israeli War Disabled and the Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Foundation.

Sandy earned her B.A., cum laude, at Case Western Reserve and her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (Legal Rights of Women section, Chairperson - Young Lawyers Section, 1972-74 and the Social Security Committee).
