After working as a lawyer for the Lincoln County State’s Attorney’s Office for over a decade, Ross Wright joined the firm in November 2015, bringing with him a wealth of courtroom and trial experience. As a Deputy State’s Attorney, Ross handled a wide array of cases ranging from magistrate and felony court files to juvenile prosecution. Ross also worked on civil matters for the County, with a particular emphasis on planning and zoning issues. Ross represents clients in state and federal court and has tried cases to juries, to judges, and through the arbitration process.

Ross is a native of Pierre, South Dakota, and graduated from the University of South Dakota with high honors, earning the distinction of University Scholar in May 2001. Ross received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2004, and also earned his Master of Public Administration degree that same year, while serving as president of the Student Bar Association.
