Pamela Duffy is an energetic attorney with more than 25 years of litigation experience who focuses on commercial and estate disputes. In addition to representing her clients in litigation, she is committed to finding practical and creative resolutions when possible.

She has appeared in state, federal and the North Carolina Business Court, tried numerous cases in jury and bench trials, and has handled appeals in state and federal courts. Pamela is a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution, and is trained as a NCDRC Certified Superior Court Mediator. She is also trained in Collaborative Law and is a member of the North Carolina Civil Collaborative Law Association.

Pamela’s estate and fiduciary litigation practice includes defense of fiduciaries as well as pursuit of claims for beneficiaries. In her commercial litigation practice, she has handled matters statewide in many industries, representing primarily closely held companies in contract disputes, business torts and employment matters.  She assists employees in higher education with employment disputes and also represents lawyers and accountants in professional liability matters.

She is admitted to practice in all North Carolina Federal District Courts, the Bankruptcy Court for the Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

She has served on numerous community organization boards, including the Ethics Committee of Alamance Regional Medical Center, the United Way of Alamance County, Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, the Elon University Board of Visitors, the Alamance Chamber, Women’s Resource Center of Burlington, The Burlington School board of trustees and the Alamance Rotary Club.

Outside of the office, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and traveling.
