Michael Landis is an associate in our New Orleans office where he focuses his practice on representing creditors’ and debtors’ rights in bankruptcy matters as well as commercial transactions and litigation. During law school, Mr. Landis served as Senior Articles Editor of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources, acted as a research assistant to Professor Christopher Tyson regarding municipal bankruptcies under Chapter 9 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, and did an externship with Judge Douglas Dodd in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.  He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.
