Mary M. Strauss (AV) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, March 16, 1972. She received her Bachelor of Science, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994, followed by her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1998, from St. Mary's University School of Law. She was a member of the legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and selected for the John M. Harlan Society, reserved for honor graduates. Mary has been admitted to practice law in the State of Texas since 1998. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas; is AV rated; and has been voted by her peers as one of the Best Lawyers in San Antonio, as published in Scene in SA magazine.

During the course of Mary’s tenure, her practice has centered upon civil defense litigation, with a focus in the areas of premises liability; third party automobile liability; and first party liability/bad faith claims. She has conducted a number of Examinations Under Oath, across south Texas. A large portion of Mary's time is devoted to researching, analyzing, and preparing coverage opinions on a wide range of topics, sorting through caselaw and statutes, and thereafter applying fact scenarios to specific insurance policies and endorsements. Such research opportunities have created a rather extensive foundation of knowledge and made Mary an invaluable resource to other attorneys in the firm, exposing her to additional litigation practice areas, wherein she assists as co-counsel on other files, including multi-party construction cases; interstate trucking claims; products liability; and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Mary is the firm's librarian. Her love of reading extends beyond the office, wherein she coordinates the neighborhood book club. Cooking and entertaining serve as a creative outlet, and Mary regularly shares her culinary masterpieces. Mary volunteers as an usher at the Majestic Theatre. She is married to Sean Page; together, they enjoy traveling within the U.S.A. and abroad.
