Lynne T. Ingram is a partner in Barton’s Dispute Resolution and Regulatory Enforcement practice.

Lynne acts on behalf of the firm’s corporate and financial services clients in complex commercial litigations and arbitrations and provides support to the firm’s bankruptcy practice. As a former Federal Prosecutor, Lynne draws upon more than a decade of senior level trial and government investigative experience in adding to the firm’s strength in representing clients in internal investigations, regulatory investigations and regulatory enforcement matters.

Prior to joining Barton, Lynne served as an Assistant United States Attorney for eleven years in Nashville and Phoenix where she handled appeals before the Sixth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Lynne’s responsibilities were focused on organized crime and international drug trafficking as well as white collar crime, and international firearms trafficking. She served for four years as the Human Trafficking Task Force Coordinator and she served as International Affairs Coordinator in the Middle District of Tennessee for five years. Lynne has tried over 35 felony jury cases in federal and state courts.

Lynne has been recognized as Nashville Business Journal’s Best of the Bar in Government in 2017 and 2018. She was also recognized as Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2017. She was awarded the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law, Larry Dean Wilks Leadership Award in 2014.   

Lynne serves on the Nashville Bar Association Board of Directors and the Lawyers’ Association for Women, Marion Griffin Chapter, Board of Directors. Lynne is Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association Criminal Justice Executive Council. She also serves on the Board of End Slavery TN.

Lynne is an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University Law School where she has taught Trial Advocacy since 2014.
