Lynne Strober co-Chairs the Family Law Practice Group.

From 1998 through 2010, Lynne served as Chair of the Matrimonial Certification Committee, and served on the Board on Attorney Certification that oversees the statewide attorney certification process. She was appointed to this position by the Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Lynne was appointed and served for several years on the Supreme Court Family Division Practice Committee, and has served on the Supreme Court Family, the Civil Motions Practice Committee, and other Bar Association committees. She was appointed by the Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Domestic Violence Working Group (1992-1994 and 2002-2004 terms), and is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations.

At the request of the Essex County Bar Association, Lynne has served as the attorney representative on the Security/Facilities Committee since 2003, which oversees the safety of the Essex County Court System and the operation of its facilities. For more than two decades, she served on the Family Law Section Executive Committee of both the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Essex County Bar Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New Jersey Chapter, and is the former Chair of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (1992-1993), and the Essex County Bar Association Family Law Section Executive Committee (1988-1991).

Lynne has published numerous articles in New Jersey Family Lawyer, and is on the Board of Editors of the Matrimonial Strategist, a nationwide publication. She has lectured extensively to lawyers and judges for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, N.J. Chapter. She has appeared on numerous television stations discussing family law issues including ABC, MSNBC, WORTV, The Home Shopping Network, and various cable shows. She has also spoken on various radio programs, and has been featured in interviews in various newspapers and publications.

In 2005 Lynne was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Women and Minorities in the Legal Profession,” having been selected because of her significant contributions to the development of family law in New Jersey. In 1993, she received the Essex County Bar Association Family Law Attorney Achievement Award, and in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, she was named a Super Lawyer by NJ Monthly Magazine.

In 2007, she was named one of the top 50 women attorneys by NJ Monthly Magazine, she has an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell. She was admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey in 1978.
