My general legal practice focuses on real estate and mortgages, wills and estates and sales and purchases of commercial businesses. Additionally, I have represented small corporate clients in a number of international transactions.
I was born in Sarnia, Ontario and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in 1974. I completed my law degree at the University of Ottawa in 1977. Upon graduation, I articled with Gerald R. Dulmage of the firm of O’Donnell, Dulmage in Perth, Ontario and was subsequently called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1979. Upon my call to the Bar, I established a private practice at 27 Foster Street in the Town of Perth, where I continue to practice today. Going the extra mile and delivering the highest level of service to clients has been a source of great satisfaction to me throughout the years. I am pleased to provide clients with a comfort zone for the meeting of their legal needs.
My wife, Jan Montgomery, and I enjoy living on Otty Lake from where the drive to the office takes only 7 minutes. We enjoy spending a few weeks of each winter in warmer climes.
