Keli Xu majored in law and graduated from the East China University of Political Science and Law with a Bachelor of Law degree. Mr. Xu joined Watson & Band Law Offices in 2009. Before that he had served as the chief legal officer for a large state-owned enterprise and a large foreign enterprise in Shanghai. He has provided long-term legal services for a total of 28 domestic and foreign companies. Said services include drafting, review and preparation of legal documents; business compliance operations; investment and financing; equity mergers and acquisitions; and resolution of disputes that enterprises encounter in their routine operations, such as disputes contracts, IP rights, labor and employment and shareholders’ rights, etc. He has thereby accumulated rich experience in the area of corporate and commercial law.

Keli Xu is skilled in arbitration, contentious, and non-contentious legal affairs in the fields of: enterprise risk management, equity mergers and acquisitions, company law, contract law, and labor law, etc. Throughout the years, he has gained rich experience in equity mergers and acquisitions and investment and financing (with the total project value reaching over 3 billion RMB).
