Keith joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP in 2013 as an Associate, practicing primarily in the Litigation and Business & Banking Departments, where he represents and advises business entities and individual clients on a wide range of legal issues. Keith is a member of the New York State, Broome County, and District of Columbia Bar Associations.

Prior to returning to his hometown of Binghamton and joining Coughlin & Gerhart, Keith was an Associate with the international law firm of Ropes & Gray, LLP in Washington, DC for nearly four years. While there, Keith engaged in complex civil and business litigation, white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and the defense of government enforcement investigations initiated by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission. Keith also advised corporations undergoing mergers and acquisitions, and further advised clients on a variety of other business-related transactions and agreements.

During law school, Keith served as a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York.
