JohnFranco is an associate who focuses his practice on the defense of commercial, construction, premises liability, product liability, and transportation claims.
Prior to joining Lipe Lyons, JohnFranco worked as an associate attorney at a Chicago law firm where he gained experience in civil and commercial litigation. JohnFranco worked on matters under the American with Disabilities Act and Illinois Wrongful Death Act in both state and federal court. Additionally, JohnFranco routinely assisted in defending matters alleged against small businesses, including actions for breach of contract and fraud.
He received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2020 with a certificate in Business Law. During his time at DePaul University College of Law, JohnFranco served as a 711 Licensed Law Student in DePaul’s Civil Litigation Clinic, representing clients in matters arising under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Additionally, JohnFranco clerked for a prominent Chicago-based plaintiff’s firm throughout law school where he gained extensive experience working on cases involving catastrophic injuries to individuals. He is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association.
In his free time, JohnFranco enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing recreational basketball.

- JohnFranco earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2021, where he was on the Dean’s List. He graduated magna cum laude from DePaul University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism and a Minor in Public Law.
