Jessica Cox practices civil litigation in the areas of business torts, construction law, estate and trust management, professional malpractice, real estate and general contract disputes. Every matter demands a firm grasp of the unique facts and the applicable laws. Clients can count on Jessica to devote the time and attention their matter requires. Jessica works hard to advocate for clients to achieve favorable resolutions, employing various negotiation and litigation strategies on a case-by-case basis.
Jessica takes a broad approach to advocating for clients and crafting creative solutions to legal disputes. She knows that by the time a client seeks legal representation, they are facing a challenging and stressful situation. She strives to give clients peace of mind throughout the process of identifying and weighing their options, navigating difficult negotiations, and ultimately reaching a resolution through settlement or litigation.
Jessica is a member of the North Carolina Bar. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in international business at Appalachian State University in 2001 (Summa cum laude) before earning her law degree at Duke University in 2006. While at Duke, she was an Article Editor for the Journal of Gender Law and Policy. Outside of practicing law, she stays active with her family and friends by hiking, kayaking, traveling and remodeling homes.
