Humay Eminli’s interdisciplinary education coupled with international experience and language skills allows her to deal with complex legal issues in transnational context.

She worked as a legal consultant to oversee the implementation of international construction projects and their compliance with legal regulations. She is currently primarily focused on international investment law and commercial arbitration, especially procedural issues of arbitration proceedings. Her master’s thesis explored procedural matters related to international commercial arbitration, particularly joinder of non-consenting third parties to arbitration proceedings.

She also has experience working with international organizations, such as the International Organization for Migration and the Council of Europe. She continued her cooperation with international organizations as a consultant focusing primarily on analyzing and delivering trainings on different areas of international public law, such as international migration law and legislative framework against organized transnational crimes.
