Ginger Chapman is an experienced scientist and trained patent attorney who helps our clients bring their products to life. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ginger is deeply knowledgeable in patent law, having spent ten years with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She helps clients navigate the complex process of researching, describing, and submitting patent applications. Her significant experience protects clients and helps them secure their patent efficiently.

Ginger collaborates with clients to analyze the patentability of their product, research competition, and define its place in the market. She protects her clients through detailed research and a deep understanding of patent laws, rules, and regulations. Ginger started her career as a Lead Scientist for Fish and Wildlife Service, running several large scale research projects. While working as a scientist on a project in her native Virgin Islands, a colleague’s law degree helped him draft an agreement that worked for all parties involved to create a Marine Conservation jurisdiction. Ginger decided to pursue her law degree after she saw the positive impact a good lawyer can have on science and technology. In her free time, she enjoys scenic tours of Virginia towns and landmarks, and watching classic movies.
