Diego heads the Prosecution and Administrative Conflict Department at CIKATO Lawyers, and works in the Trademark and Patent Department. Diego is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced IP practitioners in Uruguay.
He has been working in the IP field for more than 20 years, 4 of which he worked at the Uruguayan Trademark Office.
Diego is the author of 3 books on the subject. He is often cited by the Uruguayan Trademark’s Office, the Uruguayan Administrative High Court and Judicial Courts in Latin America in its decisions. Diego is one of the most prominent scholars in IP in Uruguay.
In addition, he has a very practical, personal and pro-active approach when advising clients.
