Cesar is a bilingual problem solver and trial lawyer. As a trial lawyer, he is a zealous advocate in and out of the courtroom. He finds innovative and creative solutions to effectively and efficiently resolve complex business disputes either through litigation or, even better, without litigation.

An alumnus of Mount Marty College in Yankton, Cesar graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2011, where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team and the Moot Court Board. His skill in litigation led him to clerk for the South Dakota Second Judicial Circuit Court, where he assisted justices in Lincoln and Minnehaha counties. He began practicing in the Sioux Falls in 2012.

As an employment law attorney, Cesar advise business and corporations to help them manage their workforce and protect their trade secrets. He helps employers recruit and maintain top talent, while avoiding unfair competition from former employees. Cesar works to anticipate and prevent legal issues in employment law and in matters involving business disputes by advising businesses and corporations through extensive planning and strategy to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

As one of a handful of fluent Spanish-speaking attorneys in South Dakota, Cesar advises business and governmental entities in cases where the accuracy and content of Spanish communications are important. Governmental entities have previously retained Cesar to help create forms and written policies for persons primarily fluent in only Spanish. Businesses and corporations throughout the United States hire Cesar to communicate with and manage international attorneys when they require representation outside of the United States in Spanish-speaking countries.

Cesar lives in Sioux Falls with his wife, Elizabeth. In his free time, Cesar enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and tending to his vegetable garden.
