Bruce Feffer is a Member of Mandelbaum Salsburg’s Real Estate Practice Group and has practiced law in New York City for more than thirty years. His clients include real estate developers, construction firms, property management companies, co-op corporations, condominium associations, and residential and commercial building owners and tenants. He has also represented hundreds of clients in buying, selling, financing and leasing all types of properties, including condominiums, houses, factories, warehouses, retail space and office buildings. He was Co-Counsel for a Hong Kong corporation in the purchase of a 65-story (one million square feet) office tower on Wall Street in New York City. He is a long time Professional Member of the New York Council of Cooperatives and Condominiums.

Bruce also serves as general legal counsel to private corporations and Not-for-Profit organizations. He handles various forms of commercial transactions and advises his clients on corporate governance and operations.

Bruce has devoted his entire career to working with clients from China, Hong Kong and the Asian-American community. Mr. Feffer served on the Board of the Manhattan Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) from 2013-2019 and is the Legal Advisor to the American Chinese Real Estate Society (ACRES).

He is a recipient of the Agent of Change Award and Dream of Equality Award from Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) for his more than three decades of service to the Asian American community in the areas of real estate, economic development, small business assistance, and voting rights.

Bruce has been a regular spokesperson and lecturer on legal issues. He has conducted classes and been a featured speaker at seminars for The Learning Annex (“Advanced Foreclosures”), Lorman Seminars (“Real Estate from A to Z” and “Landlord-Tenant Law”) , Valley National Bank (“Commercial Leasing”), The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (“Surviving the Mortgage Meltdown”), The Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (“Commercial Leasing”), the Long Island Board of Realtors North Shore Chapter (LIBOR) (“International Real Estate Transactions”), Fidelity National Title Insurance (“Cultivating an International Clientele”), the Staten Island Board of Realtors North Shore Chapter (LIBOR) (“International Real Estate Transactions”), Fidelity National Title Insurance (“Cultivating an International Clientele”), the Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) (“Pillars of the GlobaLTeam”), the Asian Finance Society (AFS)(“Real Estate Investment Trends”), the American Chinese Real Estate Society (ACRES) (“Real Estate Transactions in America”) and the Urban Chinese Network with Columbia University (“Building Sustainable Cities”) among other appearances.

Bruce was a featured panelist at the 2014 Global Real Estate Summit (“Working With the Foreign Investor”) and a Panel Moderator at the 2015 and 2016 East Meets West Luxury Real Estate Summit (“The Role of China in the New York Real Estate Market”) in New York City, sponsored by the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA).

Bruce is the author of several articles published for the legal community in the New York Law Journal.
