Brian O’Connor is an associate who focuses his practice in the areas of litigation and insurance law.  Brian supports the firm’s partnership on a range of insurance matters through conducting case related due diligence and research.

Brian joined Hermes Netburn O’Connor & Spearing, P.C. as a Law Clerk before attending law school and was added as an attorney in the Fall of 2014.  Brian brings a diligent, detail-oriented approach to handling client matters.

Before joining the firm, Brian was a law clerk for two Boston area law firms where he supported senior attorneys on a variety of product liability, commercial, environmental and insurance coverage litigation matters.  Brian reviewed and analyzed documents with the goal of furthering client case development.

Prior to beginning private practice, Brian served as a clerk in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office.  In that role he assisted in representing US Government Agencies in tort, employment, prisoner petition, social security and other cases.  Additionally, he assisted in conducting investigations of potential violations and bringing civil enforcement actions against violators.
