Brian Block is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Brian earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, where he served on the board of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. Prior to joining the firm, Brian served as a law clerk to Justice Anne M. Patterson on the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
During his time in law school, Brian was an intern for Chief Judge Theodore McKee on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and also served as a summer law clerk at the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Regional Counsel in Philadelphia. He also interned for the Environmental Section of the Office of the Attorney General, Division of Law, in Trenton. Devoting time to the local community, Brian participated in the Street Law Pro Bono program, where he taught Camden high school students basic constitutional law. He also assisted Camden organizations with filing for non-profit status through the law school’s 501(c)(3) Pro Bono program.
Brian is a native of Parsippany, New Jersey, and remained in the Garden State to attend both college and law school. Currently, he is also a volunteer mentor and debate coach with the New Jersey Law Education and Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP).
