Casual group gathering for young lawyers arriving in Florida early to mi-day on Wednesday that want to get a jump start on networking.
Welcome to Florida - Pool Party
Thursday, March 5
Following the first full day of substantive programming, all attendees are invited poolside for a time of networking cocktails, snacks, and sun!
Evening Cruise on the "Miami Lady"
Friday, March 6
To cap off the event, all attendees are invited to join us for a sightseeing cruise around Miami. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
Primerus Young Lawyers Give Back
On top of new connections and excellent programming, the Primerus Young Lawyers have a chance to participate in something special for the third year running to positively influence less fortunate school age children.
Primerus will be partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. Primerus Young Lawyers will present an "Introduction to the U.S. Legal System" and then spend time playing, mentoring, and working with the children.
Please come share in this amazing experience with us!
Here's what attendees had to say about last year's YLS Conference..
I truly recommend this program to all firms and to consider sending their young attorneys next year. It is a great way to get to know the attorneys in your network and develop relationships with them, while enjoying great CLE Courses.

I especially enjoyed the presentation on how Colorado employers have navigated the legalization of marijuana, as Massachusetts recently legalized recreational marijuana and we have many clients seeking advice on the issues discussed. Upon my return to Boston, I did a mini-presentation to our firm on the topics reviewed, which my colleagues found interesting. The social aspect of the conference was also invaluable. I believe that being able to tell clients I've met the attorney I'm referring them to provides an added layer of confidence. Just in the last month since we were in Denver, I've consulted with two attorneys I met at the conference on cases that could turn into significant litigation. Primerus should be commended for doing an amazing job re-working the schedule on the go to accommodate changing weather and travel plans. I'm looking forward to attending next year (hopefully somewhere warm!).

Part of why we choose to be lawyers is that we want to make a difference and give back to our communities. We had the opportunity at the Young Lawyers Conference to do exactly that by building bikes and donating them to second and third graders in an at risk school. The smiles and excitement from the students made the experience so wonderful!
While we all come from different areas of practice, the Young Lawyers conference consistently provides valuable continuing education on overlapping legal issues impacting us all. Perhaps even more importantly, though, is the education we get on how to market ourselves, how to market our firms, and how to further the success and bottom line of our practices. There's a return on investment that partners get by sending their younger lawyers.
