Many Americans rely heavily on prescription and over the counter drugs for everything from every-day ailments to serious, life threatening disease. We have grown to trust that those drugs approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) are safe, and that they will not harm us if taken as directed. As we have seen by the increasing number of defective drug recalls over recent years, this is clearly not the case. According to the 2003 study
