Horack Talley is one of the oldest firms in the Charlotte region, with more than seventy-five years of service to the state and community.  Horack Talley offers a tradition of value and personal service to its clients.  From its offices in uptown Charlotte and in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the firm’s attorneys licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina serves clients in either state.

Horack Talley’s practice areas include commercial and residential real estate, real estate litigation, commercial litigation, family law, creditors’ rights, tax planning and wealth building, employment law, and homeowners’ associaton law.

Horack Talley has grown significantly in the past decade, having added practice areas and additional services to their existing practice. In 2007 Horack Talley formed the first Green law practice in the Carolinas to help local and regional firms navigate the new territory of carbon-conscious real estate, clean technology, and Green debt and equity. The firm will grow as needed to continue to provide the excellent client service people have come to expect from Horack Talley.

Horack Talley attorneys have served in numerous leadership roles in their professions and their communities, as well as in county and state governments. Its present and former attorneys have proudly served in the roles of President of the Mecklenburg County and The North Carolina Bar Association, as well as in several legal-services organizations, including Legal Aid of North Carolina. They have also served on the Charlotte City Council and as Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board members. One of the firm’s lawyers went on to become the President of Duke Energy, and another became the Mayor of Asheville. Horack Talley attorneys today continue that tradition of service.
