The purpose of the International Arbitration and Litigation Practice Group (IAL PG) is to develop a mutual understanding among Practice Group Members of the many issues and problems that may arise when resolving disputes in an international arena through litigation, arbitration, mediation, or other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods; to look at the interplay between proceedings before national courts, arbitral tribunals and mediation panels in foreign jurisdictions; and to organize client events and publications on the above topics to the mutual benefit of the IAL PG members and their clients (business development).
