Hamburg Convention on the International Sale of Goods

International Trade Regulation is developing at a breathtaking speed. The establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO), especially the introduction of a new Dispute Settlement Procedure, has enhanced the importance of International Trade Law enormously. It is no longer an exclusive matter for governments. It has gained increasing relevance for the protection of private parties’ interests on the WTO-level (especially in court proceedings initiated by private firms).

Broedermann Jahn is able to advise on all aspects of World Trade Law (WTO, GATT, GATS, TRIPS etc.) as well as on the relevant trade regulations of the European Union. In practice, these cases are rare. However, when WTO-questions have arisen in the past, the existing networks have proven to be helpful.
