San Diego, California – On January 28, 2017, Robert W. Frank, President and shareholder at Neil, Dymott, Frank, McFall, Trexler, McCabe & Hudson APLC was honored as “San Diego Defense Lawyer of the Year,” by the San Diego Defense Lawyers (SDDL) at the 33rd Annual Installation Dinner at the Omni Hotel. This award is given to one outstanding defense attorney annually in San Diego, recognizing success and overall achievements in law.
Robert Frank, senior trial lawyer, joined Neil Dymott in 1980 and has been a shareholder since 1988. Mr. Frank specializes in civil litigation defense trial work and administrative licensing hearings for various types of healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on medical, dental, chiropractic and nursing specialties. He also handles a variety of other general civil litigation including, professional liability, medical malpractice and administrative licensing matters as well as medical staff privilege issues.
Mr. Frank is a former board member and Past President for the San Diego Defense Lawyers. He is an associate member in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates and has served as a faculty member of the San Diego Inn of Court College of Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Frank has been selected as one of San Diego's Super Lawyers by the publishers of Law & Politics Magazine since 2007. In 2008, he was selected as one of San Diego's "Top 50" Super Lawyers. Since 2009, he has been named by his peers as one of San Diego's Top Lawyers in San Diego Magazine and has been named annually by his peers since 2008 as among the Best Lawyers of America® for Professional and Malpractice Law. In 2015, he was selected by Best Lawyers of America as “Lawyer of the Year” in San Diego, CA for Medical Malpractice Defense and in 2017 “Lawyer of the Year” for Professional Malpractice Defense in San Diego, CA.
