Collins & Lacy, P.C. is pleased to announce Kerri Rupert has been selected into the South Carolina Bar Association’s 2016 Leadership Academy.
The South Carolina Bar regards the course as a highly selective program designed to equip young lawyers (in a practice from three to ten years) with networking opportunities, professionalism training, and other skills to better position themselves in both the legal community and their community at large. For approximately six months, the class will meet once a month with each class focusing on a different topic. Opportunities to meet with judges and legislators while gaining insight into the skills necessary for community leadership are just some of the important benefits for participants.
“This is a great opportunity for me both personally and professionally,” said Rupert. “This Academy will help me build on the relationships I have within the Bar and make new connections within the community as well.”
Rupert is an associate practicing professional liability at Collins & Lacy’s Columbia office. She represents healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, financial and investment advisors, attorneys, insurance brokers and agents in professional liability litigation. Prior to joining Collins & Lacy, Rupert served as a staff attorney at the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
