March 13, 2018 - Earp Cohn P.C., a regional law firm with offices in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is pleased to welcome Stephen S. Pappaterra as Counsel with the firm. Steve concentrates his practice in Estate and Financial Planning, Planning for Special Needs, as well as Elder Law and Estate Administration.  Steve is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law Camden (J.D. 1992).

A former trusts and estates attorney at one of New Jersey’s largest law firms, Steve also served as an adjunct professor of Business Law for six years. He is the author or co-author of 13 articles for professional publications, has extensive experience as a professional speaker, and has been quoted by, and appeared in, many major media outlets.

Steve spent 14 years as Managing Director of Wealth Planning for PNC Wealth Management, with national responsibility for the strategic direction and delivery of estate and financial planning advice for high net worth clients. As part of this role, he was the primary architect and leader for PNC’s highly-regarded Wealth Planning Group, which grew to over 100 planning specialists, comprised of attorneys, CPAs, and certified financial planners.

Steve is also Co-Founder and President of Syncopate Advisors, LLC, a speech and communications consulting firm, as well as a member of the coaching team for The Oechsli Institute based in North Carolina.

In the middle of college, Steve spent three years studying drums and percussion in New York with renowned teachers Henry Adler and Morris Lang (New York Philharmonic), both of whom are members of the Percussive Arts Hall of Fame. Today, he continues to play professionally in theatres, big bands, and cabarets.
