Coleman & Horowitt, LLP is pleased to welcome two attorneys to the firm, David J. Weiland as partner and Gregory J. Norys as an associate.

David J. Weiland is an experienced trial attorney in the Fresno office. Mr. Weiland joins Coleman & Horowitt, LLP as a partner and chairman of the firm’s litigation department. Mr. Weiland previously served as a partner, a member of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Operating Officer, and chair of the Litigation Department of the Fresno firm Dowling Aaron Incorporated for the past fifteen years and solo practice for six years before Dowling Aaron. Mr. Weiland, a registered civil engineer, represents clients in commercial, construction, and real estate litigation, professional liability and tort defense, as well as municipal law, real estate transactions, and land use matters. Mr. Weiland is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law. Mr. Weiland has been named a Super Lawyer® by Thomson Reuters from 2009 to 2014 and holds an AV®-preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Advisory Panel and Construction Industry Forum), Fresno County Bar Association (Real Estate, Construction, and Litigation Sections), Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of California as wells as the American Society of Civil Engineer.

Gregory J. Norys joins the firm’s Fresno office as an associate in the Litigation Department. Mr. Norys was a former shareholder at Dowling Aaron Incorporated for over six years. Mr. Norys is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Finance Option, and Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law. Mr. Norys will represent clients in commercial, construction, and real estate litigation, professional liability and tort defense, as well as municipal law, real estate transactions, and land use matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Fresno County and Tulare County Bar Associations as well as the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
