Joel K. Heriford joined Burch & Cracchiolo in 1985 and practices in estate planning and taxation, retirement planning, asset protection planning, revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, special needs trusts, family limited partnerships, family limited liability companies, asset protection trusts and charitable remainder trusts.
Melissa G. Iyer has represented a number of governmental institutions in high profile cases involving education, civil rights, negligence and constitutional issues since joining the Firm in 2006. Martha C. Patrick, a Certified Specialist in Tax Law, joined the Firm in 1987 after nine years as a senior trial attorney with the Internal Revenue Service. Steven M. Serrano joined the Firm in 1992 and practices Family Law with emphasis on dissolution, including divorce representation and mediation, property division and business valuation matters and issues regarding child support, custody and paternity, premarital agreements, grandparents’ rights and adult adoptions. Serrano has been selected as a Southwest Super Lawyer since 2012.
Wendi A. Sorensen is certified as a specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death law by the State Bar of Arizona due to her litigation experience state and federal court. Her practice focuses on aggravated liability and damages matters and premises liability cases. Sorensen has been on the Southwest Super Lawyers selection list since 2011 and was named one of Arizona’s Top 25 Women Attorneys in 2013 by the organization.
