Trey joined Faruki Ireland & Cox as an associate in August, 2008. Trey’s area of practice is complex commercial and business litigation. He is a member of the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court, the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Dayton Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division. Additionally, Trey is a legal advisor for the Dayton Early College Academy mock trial team. Trey is licensed in the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Trey, a member of the Order of the Coif, graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in May 2008, where he served as an Assistant Executive Editor for the University of Toledo Law Review, President of the Sports Law Association and as a research assistant and teaching assistant for several professors. During law school, Trey completed an externship at Ohio’s 6th District Court of Appeals, worked as a legal intern for a Huntington, WV law firm, and worked as an intern in the College of Law Legal Clinic. Trey received highest ranking awards in Employment Discrimination and Secured Transactions.

Trey completed his undergraduate work at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. He double majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in May, 2005. At Wilmington College, Trey served as president of Sigma Zeta Fraternity and was a co-captain of the college mock trial team, winning various Outstanding Attorney and Outstanding Witness awards.

A 2001 graduate of Wayne High School, Trey now resides in Springboro, Ohio with his wife, Cassandra, an elementary school teacher.
