Thomas J. Joensen, Esq.
Background
Tom started with the Bradshaw Law Firm in 2008. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1994, received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003 and was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2003. Tom’s work has primarily focused on medical malpractice for over 10 years, beginning with his time in law school. Tom also practices in other defense areas, including products liability, professional negligence, automobile accidents, real estate, and the defense of municipalities.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tom was a speech pathologist in Des Moines and taught courses at Iowa State University. He received his degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Iowa in 1997.
Tom is admitted to practice before all Iowa federal and state district and appeals courts. He is a member of the Iowa Defense Counsel. Tom enjoys regularly giving presentations on medical malpractice and other legal issues.
