Engaged in trial litigation, including personal injury defense, labor relations, product liability, wrongful death cases, transit law, and contract matters. Formerly directed litigation as Chief Counsel of Transit Management of Southwestern Louisiana, a corporation that managed the daily operations of the Regional Transit Authority. Acted as a mediator in programs sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service. Former Regional Counsel (Acting) U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Appointed mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program. Mediated hundreds of cases involving personal injury disputes, product liability, property disputes, construction contracts, workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, real estate contracts and small business acquisitions. As a former landman with a major oil company, drafted and negotiated mineral contracts and leases, real estate and construction contracts and small business acquisitions.
